2019 Year in Review

2019 was a year to remember for McLean Crossing Connect. We kicked off 2019 with Dump the Pump Day, where Kingston residents pledged to walk, bike, or take transit to work instead of driving alone. Residents took the pledge to try Transit at our Breakfast On-The-Go event, and we celebrated the occasion over pastries and coffee. We enjoyed chatting with you about various transportation options available to you on your way to work.

We also started a private program Facebook group, where we continue to share up-to-date transportation-related information and post about upcoming events for McLean Crossing Connect. If you haven’t joined yet, head on over and join the page on Facebook here.
Next, we hosted a Try Transit Week Breakfast, where residents took the pledge to Try Transit during the week of September 16-20, 2019. We held a raffle for a SmarTrip Card and a Starbucks gift card, which two lucky residents won and were able to enjoy during their non-drive alone commutes to work.

Finally, the transportation team conducted a transportation survey and raffled off an Apple Watch, which one lucky resident won. In addition to this giveaway, the first 100 survey respondents received a $5 Starbucks gift card! Thanks to each resident who took the survey so that we can make the transportation resources at Kingston even better in 2020.

Thank you for a great year and be sure to stay tuned for upcoming events in 2020. We look forward to seeing you soon!
